Is anyone else getting a fairly steady diet of 502, 503, 504 errors? (Servers unavailable?)

Yes! Glad for the company.
I've been getting server errors - almost always 503 for me - for the last five days or so. And ONLY on the CD website.Since no one else had posted, I assumed it must be something on my end. But I knew that was unlikely since it happens for me whether I'm home or at the church.
About the only thing I've tried is a DNS flush; but that did nothing.
As far as I can tell, the service comes and goes throughout the day, never lasting more than a half hour without a failure that lasts for several minutes.
Here's hoping the CD IT people see your thread. Thanks for starting it.

I did a DNS flush also. I think the problem is on their end. Like you, I figured silence meant it was just me! I am seeing the same timing/behavior you describe. I had supposed it was just a server maintenance issue, but it has gone on for a few days now.

Computers these days last and last. I have an old laptop that is 13 years old. I threw Linux on it and it works just fine for most things. I don't actually use it though except as a way to tinker with Linux. I just threw out my big-box Linux machine. Was taking up too much space.
Why does stuff stack up so? We gave away or threw out 3 computers recently. We still have 4 active computers, 3 iPads and 3 iPhones for 2 people. What a material world we live in!

Glad to see that you are using Linux! My first guess is that Logos/Faithlife is just getting more traffic on this site than the website can handle. And, I suppose that is a good thing. However, I would like them to provide their servers some TLC and an upgrade.

I have no idea where this server resides, maybe on some teensy drive behind a rubbish can in the advertising department? Surely my 13 year old Linux machine would run it. I would donate it to the cause. You think the site is getting that kind of traffic?

I have no idea. Maybe the server is doing all kinds other stuff as well. The typical reason though for a 503 service unavailable error is that the server is under maintenance (I'm ruling this out, because the site only is going down intermittently), or has more requests than it can handle.

I wonder if someone has an intentional low-level DOS sort of attack going on to the IP address?
The site is registered by TIERRANET INC. D/B/A DOMAINDISCOVER / https://www.tierra.net
There seem to be 6 other sites hosted at 22.214.171.124 including
Maybe there is a public DNS problem?
Or maybe a DNS blacklist issue. I will fiddle with other DNS servers.Or maybe just go to bed--whichever my wife encourages most.

An addendum to my experience with the 500s errors: Add 502 errors to my list of experiences. That I just ran into another one reminded me that I have those before, in addition to the 503 errors.
Have any of you sent a note to the Faithwalk people about this issue? I haven't, but guess one of us should.

Earlier today I contacted Faithlife about these ongoing access issues, asking about the status of their efforts to correct them. For what it's worth, here's the content of the response I received....
"Thank you for contacting Faithlife Customer Support! We are aware of this issue and are currently working to resolve it. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you."
[NOTE: And of course, I encountered errors trying to make this post!]

One thing I found, make sure when you go to CD, your address doesn't end with 502.
