I came across an article in which mention was made about a memthat was sent by a male engineer working for Google. The memo seems to have been challenging the wide spread allegation that women are paid less than men in science, technology, etc because of a male discrimination against women.
In the memo the argument -- which seems to be an obvious truth -- was expressed that, despite sexism, etc differences exist in the distribution of different traits of men and of women, and that there are particular "male traits" as well as particular "female traits", and that of course female traits are not less important but that they are in different areas. The memo also expressed the fact that such truth about male and female differences no longer can be voiced in today's society and culture which has been created by feminists and certain politics, and that people are obliged to actually ignore factual evidence if it doesn't support this modern ideology. Danielle Brown (Google’s vice president for Diversity, Integrity and Governance) was said to have denounced the writer of that memo for supposedly promoting "incorrect assumptions about gender".
But, what is incorrect about the statement that there are different traits of males and females? Is it not rather true? It seems rather that - once again - what just about everybody does in fact know to be true is "incorrect" and "inconsistent" with feminist ideology and thus "not permissible" and therefore is made out to look as if it were "false" ....
Has such "ideological correctness over truth" propaganda already infiltrated the beliefs and teachings of Christian churches / assemblies as well ?
Truth will prevail. The pendulum of "ideological correctness" will swing to and fro. Just keep your head about you and you will be fine. The world has always been mad.
