Psalm 100:4King James Version (KJV)
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
I'm not a Holiday person but He said to enter into his gates with Thanksgiving, so this is another day we as believers can sit and remain in his courts all day long! -
And even the world will participate with us for a little while
Good post Tyrone. We have a mix of American and other friends coming over to spend a day in Thanksgiving. Our family is scattered over the globe. I recently asked a Brit how his family would spend Thanksgiving. He said with typically dry British wit: "We celebrate Thanksgiving on the 4th of July, to offer thanks that we are rid of you rebels who refuse to pay taxes and dumped our perfectly good tea into the harbor." He was kidding of course and actually participates in US Thanksgiving along with us.
