This was in my Logos home page this morning;
Obelisk in Heliopolis, Egypt, the Biblical On
The biblical On, home of Joseph’s father-in-law (Gen 41:45), was in an area that is now a northeastern suburb of the city of Cairo. The Greeks named the city Heliopolis, “City of the Sun,” because it was dedicated to the worship of the sun god Ra. The ancient ruins are largely gone or obscured now because the builders of Cairo buried them or used parts of them over the centuries for building materials. This obelisk is one of the few remaining monuments of ancient Heliopolis.
Gen 41:45, Gen 46:20, Jer 43:13, Ezek 30:17
Here is the Washington monument!!!!
What did our "founding fathers" do to us??
If you do any research, you will find part of the Washington monument did come from Egypt.

But don't worry, we are just following Rome's lead!!
Look at the Vatican
For some reason, I cannot paste it here, so here is the link;
If you still think we should be using "GOD" you better watch my video on Isaiah 65:11, to under stand what God is!!
Listen how in Isaiah 65 verse 11 Fortune or Gad is pronounced in Hebrew
All I am doing here is putting stuff in plain site here, I wrote none of it myself!!!

Here is a thought:
The obelisk in Egypt was too short and pointed too low--only to the sun. The monument in Washington it much taller and points all the way to heaven.

Where were they trying to go at the tower of babel?
Taller just means stronger, see screenshot!!
The bigger they are, the harder they fall!

This is why precise definitions define the title. There are many different versions of YHWH or Jesus. The Jews did not recognize YAHWEH when he stood right in front of them. He did not match the idol they had given his name. Today we have several different versions of Jesus but the bible definition of Jesus does not match the idol many follow and worship, giving it his name.
SO we can be as correct about God's name as can be. But it represents an idol if the details about him are not correct.

Interesting. I doubt it was planned. What exactly is the coincidence?

I would have to say nothing was, that it was well planned and calculated out.

It might have been. Some things we just don't know.

It’s fine with me if you want to.

Thanks, I have not put it together yet.
I don't know if you are aware of this, but yesterday in one of my google searches on the Washington monument, our discussion was listed from this forum.
I think that is pretty cool!!
