Thanks for all of these enlightening posts. It's good to hear from those on the outside looking in. But I wonder if their news source isn't the same as most everyone else's.

Unless the Australians in the video were specifically watching CNN and/or BBC I sure that most of local news stations/broadcast would be very different from the news sources in the U.S.A.
I live in an east Asian country that has close ties to the U.S.A. but still, the news coverage of the USA is very different from what is broadcast in English in the US, or it takes a very different angle. I am grateful that people have taken the time upload the US media to YouTube so I can compare and in many cases learn what simply is not reported here.

I live in Germany ... and you can easily receive the major US mass-media stations via satellite here .. English language, coverage just about the same as within the USA.
In addition, unfortunately, Germany being a vasall country of the US empire, the German mass-media major news are no different in tendency and propaganda from the mass-media in the USA .... Trump bashing to no end, Russia bashing to no end, promotion of flooding Europe with illegal migrants, etc etc ..
